This prayer plan is a companion resource to the film, That They May Be One. During these 10 days, we will delve deeper into the lives of the characters portrayed in That They May Be One, such as Saint Elena Guerra, Pope Leo XIII, William Seymour, and Agnes Ozman. The Holy Spirit’s work in these people’s lives will encourage us to seek Him more!

As part of our 10 days of prayer, on May 19th and 20th, That They May Be One will be released in theaters. Gather a group of family and friends and head to theaters and experience the Holy Spirit’s work of unity!

Daily Scripture

“O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you; my flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water” (Psalm 63:1).

“And while staying with them he ordered them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the promise of the Father, which, he said, ‘you heard from me; for John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now’” (Acts 1:4-5).

Daily Reflections

  • Which phrase in Romans 12:12 is hardest for me right now: rejoice, be patient, or be constant? Why?

  • What “tribulation” (pressure, delay, disappointment, uncertainty) am I currently facing, and how am I allowing it to positively shape my prayer life? How have you noticed your prayer life changing and how can you see it as a deepening of your relationship with God?

  • Elena believed “Pentecost is not over.” Where have I quietly assumed God is no longer doing “that kind” of work, in the Church, or in me?
