Daily Reflections & Journal Prompts

  • Read Ephesians 1:17–18:

“May the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory… give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know the hope to which He has called you…”

In this passage, Paul prays that the Holy Spirit would open the eyes of our hearts so we can truly see and understand the hope we have in Christ. Take a few moments to pray these verses over your own life. Invite the Lord to speak to you through His Word and to deepen your understanding of Him.

As you reflect, write down anything the Holy Spirit highlights to you or any truths that stand out from these verses in Ephesians.

  • Patti once prayed, “Jesus, be real for me,” and God faithfully answered that prayer. In the same way, Heather describes receiving a powerful revelation of Jesus living within her through the verse, “Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Colossians 1:27).

Could Patti’s prayer be your prayer as well? Do you long for Jesus to become more real in your daily life? Do you live with the awareness that Christ is within you - present, available, and near?

Take a few quiet moments to reflect on Colossians 1:27. Sit with this truth in prayer, and invite Jesus to deepen your understanding of who He is and the reality of His presence dwelling within you.

  • Patti prayed: “Whatever You ask of me, I accept it.” Surrender opens the door to the Spirit in our lives. Do you sense the Lord asking you to place anything on the altar today?
